Service is terrible (due to what can only be described as inexperienced staff)
Food was pretentious and cold,
Waiting staff don't know what a G+T is, a member of our party nearly got a cup of tea!!
They stuck 20 of us upstairs beside the toilets (toilet attendant sounded like she was going to cough up a child) in an area that seats 10 comfortably, 15 at a push.
Carpet going up the stairs looks like it hadn't been vacuumed in months.
Staff in general are nice but lack guidance from an experienced manager.
Ability to carry trays was awful, long waits for drinks, had to be told how to make a rockshandy that never arrived.
I'm always weary of an establishment that has to automatically charge a 12.5% service charge and wonder does it go to the team as if it doesn't there is no incentive and even if it does there is still less incentive for them to provide exceptional service due to the fact that they automatically get it.
The hospitality trade is changing and the political approach (higher tax, cut backs......) isn't going to fix it in the long term.
Beautiful venue for an inst snap but terrible for a group booking.

Scammers. We booked a table for 3. We ordered 3 cocktails and 3 dishes. After that we ordered the bill. They came to charge us very fast and I found it a little bit strange. After that, I saw in the receipt that they charged us 10% of the bill as tip.
I went to claim back that and they wanted to charge me again without the tip. Then I explained what happened for third time and they gave us the money back in a bad way.
Definitely not coming again.
We recently hosted a "day 2" gathering for our wedding at Farrier & Draper. I couldn't recommend it more. The Gallery room was lovely, the food was great and I was really pleased with the service. Leading up to the event, the venue were super responsive and keen to help us in any way possible. On the day, the food serving staff were very attentive and checked in regularly to make sure all was OK. The bar maid was great- worked really hard and was very funny. We ended up staying much later than we expected! Thanks v much Farrier & Draper- we had a great time!
Great place. Beautiful atmosphere. Good food. And fantastic drinks. The staff was very courteous and accommodating.
Absolutely horrible service. Waitress had dirty shirt,no friendly. The waitress had no idea how to serve wine. After a while, no one asked us if everything was okay. . I work as a manager in a restaurant, and I would not tolerate being rude even for a second with anyone from my staff. Food was ok. But the service ruined all our feelings from nice place. Never again.
Actually a great place. Limited food menu but our pizza was very tasty. Staff very nice, and good vibe. But the fact it’s in the Powers-court basement give the setting real character. Recommended.
